Australian Star Joins Netflix's Assassin's Creed Live-Action Series
Tanzyn Crawford, who will appear in the upcoming Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, has been cast in Netflix's highly anticipated Assassin's Creed adaptation.
Netflix's live-action take on the Assassin's Creed franchise has added another name to its growing roster. Tanzyn Crawford, an Australian actress set to appear in HBO's A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, will play a series regular in the streaming giant's adaptation of Ubisoft's popular gaming franchise.
Crawford joins previously announced cast members Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, Zachary Hart, and Laura Marcus. The production team continues to keep character details locked down tight. No word yet on which historical period the show will explore or which assassin will take center stage.
Production Timeline and Location
Cameras are expected to roll in 2026, with Italy serving as the primary filming location. That geographic choice has fans of Ezio Auditore buzzing with excitement, though producers haven't confirmed any connection to the Renaissance-era assassin's storyline.
The secrecy surrounding plot details matches the stealth approach of the franchise's hooded protagonists. Cast roles remain undisclosed as the project moves through pre-production phases.
Crawford's Westeros Adventure
Before donning any hidden blades, Crawford will make her mark in Westeros. A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms premieres January 18 on HBO Max, featuring Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as his squire Aegon Targaryen.
Crawford portrays Tanselle, a traveling puppeteer whose path crosses with the wandering knight and his young companion. The show adapts George R.R. Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas, set decades before the events of Game of Thrones.
