Casey Wilson Calls Tim Allen 'Such a Bitch' After Nightmare Filming
A Hollywood actress reveals shocking behind-the-scenes behavior from the comedy star that left everyone 'walking on eggshells' during production of his Disney+ series.
Tim Allen's reputation among fellow actors isn't exactly glowing, and recent revelations from a co-star paint a particularly unflattering picture of the comedy veteran. While audiences know him from Home Improvement and as the voice of Buzz Lightyear, those who've worked alongside him tell a different story about the man behind the characters.
The actor's career spans decades, from his breakout sitcom in the 1990s to his role as the accidental Santa in The Santa Clause franchise. But scratch beneath the surface of his public persona, and troubling patterns emerge in how he treats the people around him on set.
A History of Problematic Behavior
Allen's track record with co-stars reveals concerning incidents that go back years. During Home Improvement's run, his on-screen wife Patricia Richardson became so frustrated with the massive pay disparity between them that she ultimately left the show. While Allen pocketed $2 million per episode, Richardson was offered significantly less, and rather than advocate for fair compensation, Allen allowed her departure to end the series prematurely.
Even more disturbing are allegations from Pamela Anderson, who claimed that during her guest appearance on the sitcom, Allen exposed himself to her. According to Anderson, he justified this inappropriate behavior by saying that since he'd seen her nude in magazines, she should see him naked too – a logic that most reasonable people would find deeply flawed.
The Disney+ Disaster
However, these past incidents seem mild compared to what Casey Wilson experienced while filming The Santa Clauses, Allen's Disney+ series continuation of his holiday movie franchise. The Saturday Night Live alumna appeared in a small role during the 2022 pilot episode, and her account of working with Allen is absolutely scathing.
During filming of a scene where Wilson's character throws objects at Allen as he emerges from a fireplace, the veteran actor demonstrated behavior that left his co-star stunned. Instead of addressing Wilson directly about any concerns with her performance, Allen walked over to a nearby producer and loudly complained that she was stepping on his lines, ensuring Wilson could hear every word.
The humiliated producer was forced to relay Allen's complaint, creating an awkward and unprofessional situation that could have been avoided with basic courtesy. Throughout the entire shoot, Wilson says Allen refused to make eye contact or speak with her directly, creating a hostile work environment that affected the entire crew.
A Toxic Set Environment
Wilson's description of the atmosphere during filming reveals just how difficult Allen can be to work with. She noted that 'everyone was walking on eggshells' whenever he was present, suggesting his behavior problems weren't limited to their interaction alone. When a crew member jokingly told Wilson she was seeing Allen 'on a good day,' it became clear that his attitude issues were well-known among the production team.
On her podcast Bitch Sesh, Wilson didn't mince words about her experience: 'Tim Allen was such a bitch. It was truly the single worst experience I've ever had with a co-star, ever.' Coming from an actress with extensive experience in television and film, including work on major productions, this statement carries significant weight.
The fact that Wilson felt compelled to speak publicly about her negative experience is particularly noteworthy, given how rarely Hollywood professionals criticize each other openly. Her willingness to use such strong language suggests the situation was far worse than typical on-set tensions.
