For those sticking around after the main story wraps up, the latest installment in the horror franchise offers a double dose of extra content. The film includes both a mid-credits sequence and a final audio-only stinger, each one dropping major hints about where the story could go next.
A Familiar Evil Unearthed
The first bonus scene kicks off mid-way through the credits. We follow a trio of men as they trespass into the now-abandoned Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria from the first film. Their goal is to scavenge some props for a themed haunted house attraction, knowing the building is slated for demolition the very next day.
While two of them search for merchandise, the third stumbles upon a concealed room. Inside, they find the decrepit Springtrap animatronic. The men comment on the awful smell, completely unaware that they're looking at the very suit that crushed William Afton, with his rotting corpse still inside. This hidden chamber was where the spirits of the murdered children had imprisoned Afton's soul.
Earlier in the movie, Mike and Abby learned from the animatronics that once the children's spirits passed on to the afterlife, they could no longer hold Afton back. With the spirits now free, the room became discoverable. The scavengers, oblivious to the danger, wrap the animatronic in plastic, planning to haul it away. Afton's malevolent spirit is now free to wreak havoc on the outside world.
A Chilling Final Message
Just when you think it's all over, a final audio clip plays at the very end of the credits, in classic series fashion. The audience hears a voicemail left for Mike by Henry Emily, the character played by Skeet Ulrich. In the message, Henry makes a shocking confession: he was William Afton's original business partner and helped create the animatronics.
He delivers a grim warning about his own daughter, Charlotte, who was one of Afton's victims years ago. Her vengeful spirit now possesses the Marionette puppet and is on a relentless quest for payback against anyone connected to the pizzeria's dark history. The call ends abruptly with the unmistakable sounds of the Marionette breaking into Henry's home, implying he has just become his daughters latest victim.
