The actress who played Sansa Stark opens up about her satisfaction with her character's conclusion while revealing that her co-stars felt differently about their own storylines in the HBO series finale.

Sophie Turner stands alone among her Game of Thrones castmates when it comes to satisfaction with how the series wrapped up. The actress, who brought Sansa Stark to life for eight seasons, recently revealed she was thrilled with her character's conclusion while her fellow actors weren't quite as pleased.

Speaking with The Direct, Turner addressed the possibility of returning to Westeros for upcoming spinoff projects. "Show me the money," she laughed. "I don't know, I think it would be hard but also amazing to come back to it."

A Queen's Satisfaction

Turner's contentment makes perfect sense given Sansa's triumphant arc. Her character ended the series as Queen of the North, with her homeland securing independence from the rest of Westeros. Few characters received such a definitively positive conclusion.

"I feel that I was very happy with the way Sansa ended her story in Game of Thrones, and no one else was really happy with their ending," Turner explained. "I feel like I got a good one, and so I don't know if I could revisit it."

Mixed Feelings About Returns

The actress expressed uncertainty about potentially reprising her role. "Maybe it would be an utter joy, or maybe it would be trying to cling on to something that was magic back in the day that can't be recreated. I would have to see a script."

Her cautious optimism contrasts sharply with Kit Harington's response to similar questions. When asked about voicing Jon Snow for an audiobook, Harington was blunt: "No, god no. I don't wanna go anywhere near it. I spent 10 years doing that. Thanks, I'm alright."

What's Next for Westeros

While various sequel projects remain in development, details stay scarce. The Jon Snow-focused series called Snow was previously canceled before reaching production.

Fans won't have to wait much longer for new content from the Seven Kingdoms. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms premieres January 18 on HBO and January 19 on Sky and NOW TV in the UK.
