During a recent interview, the actress delivered a witty response when asked about potentially joining her former co-star's superhero franchise, while also discussing her directorial ambitions.

During a recent Carversations interview with Suzie Riemer, Kristen Stewart discussed her upcoming directorial debut, The Chronology of Water. The conversation took an unexpected turn when Riemer suggested Stewart should play Robin alongside her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson's Batman.

Stewart's response was pure comedy gold: "Maybe I should play Rob in Batman." The clever wordplay wasn't lost on fans. She meant playing Rob (Pattinson) rather than Robin. Classic Stewart wit.

Could the Ex-Couple Reunite on Screen?

James Gunn recently shut down Robin speculation for The Batman: Part II. He told reporters that very few people have actually read the script. Still, fans can dream.

Robin traditionally appears as a male character. But alternate versions exist. Carrie Kelley from the Elseworld stories stands out as a notable female Robin. If Matt Reeves ever explored this direction, Stewart could theoretically fit the role.

Age presents the main obstacle. Robin typically appears much younger than Batman. Stewart and Pattinson are roughly the same age, which breaks that dynamic.

Stewart Eyes Twilight Director's Chair

The actress recently told Entertainment Tonight she'd love to remake Twilight as a director. She praised the original filmmakers but noted they didn't fully grasp the project's massive scope.

"Imagine if we had like a huge budget and a bunch of love and support. I would love to readapt. Yeah, sure. I'll do the remake. I'm doing it. I'm committed," Stewart said.

The original Twilight movies received mixed critical reception. IMDb ratings ranged from 4.8 to 5.6 across the five-film series. Rotten Tomatoes scores varied wildly, with critic ratings between 26% and 49%.

Stewart's directorial vision could bring fresh perspective to the vampire romance saga. Her spontaneous red carpet commitment suggests genuine interest in revisiting the characters that launched her career.
